Picked up our rental car and headed south. First to Kilkenny to see a castle and to have lunch. Overcast and drizzling but not bad. Then on to Kinsale on the southern coast. Our B&B hostess advised against pub food tonight in the aftermath of a rugby match. So we strolled around and had a nice dinner and only passed through the celebratory throngs once...even so a rather tipsy bloke offered us a swig of wine out of a an open bottle along with the promise to love us forever!
