The world isn’t flat but it sure is slope-y.

And/or we are just getting old.

This fact was brought home multiple times in the last day.

Up and down jetways, of course.

Between terminals in PHL there was one surprising uphill section…and I lived in Philadelphia for four years as a young woman. I distinctly recall it being flat there/then.

And here in Doha (where I understand when it rains it really rains) everything is sloped….significantly. The streets, the sidewalks, and the museum (as pictured) outside but also INSIDE too!
